Linocut of a Japanese woman in yukata with parasol and cherry trees

$74,00$84,00

The linocut I present to you captures the beauty of a Japanese woman wearing a traditional yukata, waiting elegantly to walk under the cherry blossoms. The use of the parasol to protect oneself from the sun adds a touch of grace to its silhouette.

This unique and emblematic scene of Japanese culture inspired me to create a linocut that faithfully represents it. Hand engraving in a linoleum plate, followed by printing on smooth or wenhzou paper, allowed me to create a crisp and detailed impression of the image.

For those who wish, I also offer a variation of linocut, in which I used a soft color palette to add a touch of poetry and softness to the image through the petals that surround the silhouette.
