Handmade linocut of Kamakura Buddha in blue

46,00 55,00

Kōtoku-in Buddhist Temple is located in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, and is famous for its monumental bronze statue of Amitābha Buddha. This impressive representation attracts many travelers and tourists because of its imposing size. Inspired by this Japanese icon during my early travels, I created a linocut of the statue using Prussian blue ink.

Only 100 prints were made, each signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity on the back. If you choose the “handmade paper” option, please note that the paper used is made in our own workshop.
