Japanese Linocut of a mysterious Torii in Kanazawa Blue

55,00 64,00

During a trip to Kanazawa, I was captivated by the sight of a Torii which showed a path in the dark. This traditional and magical scene, with its magnificent Torii, its Shimenawa “braided ropes” and its Shide “folded Japanese paper strips”, immediately inspired me to make this linocut. I had a lot of fun creating it and I’m sure it will delight all Japan and nature lovers.

The number of prints is limited to 100 and each linocut is signed and numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. If you opt for the handmade paper we make in our workshop, you will receive an even more unique and special piece. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I will be happy to help you.
