Located in the northeast of Kyoto, Kurama Forest is a beautiful place with a special atmosphere full of magic. Once in the heart of the forest you can only hear the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The stone steps are worn by time and covered with roots for some. A timeless place that I recommend to all Japan lovers but also especially to nature lovers looking for a unique place.
