These emblematic figures of Japanese culture have always held an irresistible fascination for me, and so was born the desire to create a series of linocuts inspired by these unforgettable icons. By immersing myself in the fascinating world of Maikos and Geishas, I sought to capture their essence, their mysterious beauty and timeless elegance, while trying to convey this magic through my works.
Thus, each linocut represents a step in this artistic and cultural exploration, seeking to express the essence of these emblematic Japanese figures, while trying to convey to others the beauty and emotion I myself felt when discovering them.
