Japanese Linocut of a blue maiko salute

This is the original linocut of a maiko wearing a traditional kimono and bowing. I tried to capture her posture and graceful attitude. The Wenzhou paper used for the print reinforces the subtle and delicate aspect of this iconic scene of Japanese culture.

Each copy is limited to a series of 100 prints, signed and numbered by hand in our workshop. On the back of each linocut is a certificate of authenticity. If you choose the “handmade paper” option, you should know that this paper is made in our workshop. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, I will be happy to help you.
