Linocut of a Japanese woman in yukata with a parasol in blue

I present to you a linocut that captures the beauty of an elegant Japanese woman, dressed in a traditional yukata, waiting under the cherry blossoms with a parasol to protect herself from the sun. This unique scene, emblematic of Japanese culture, inspired me to create a linocut faithful to the image.

By manually etching a linoleum plate and printing on smooth or wenhzou paper, I was able to create a crisp, detailed image. For those who prefer a touch of poetry and softness, I offer a variation of the linocut in which I used a soft color palette to surround the petal silhouette.

There will be only 100 prints, each signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity on the back. Please note that the “handmade paper” option uses paper made in our workshop. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, I will be happy to help you.
